## When you reach a limit
- Monthly submissions: forms pause and reject new submissions until the monthly allowance renews, or immediately after an upgrade. Submissions sent while a form is paused are not stored or queued and cannot be recovered.
- File storage: submissions without files are still accepted; submissions with file uploads are rejected until you free up storage (delete submissions or files) or upgrade.
- Forms: if a downgrade leaves more active forms than the new plan allows, Forminit keeps your most active forms collecting and pauses the least active ones.

## Notes
- Submissions are stored with no time limit by default on every plan; nothing is auto-deleted unless you set a retention period.
- Control data retention (Pro and higher, documented as Submission Retention) lets you pick a retention period per form, after which submissions and their uploaded files are permanently deleted: https://forminit.com/docs/submission-retention/
- Spam submissions are always permanently deleted after 30 days, on every plan.
- Yearly billing has a different discount on each plan. Pro: $190/year, 2 months free (save $38). Business: $594/year, 50% off (save $594).
- All plans submit via POST https://forminit.com/f/{formId}, using public mode (no API key, 1 request per 5 seconds per IP address) or protected mode (X-API-KEY header, 5 requests per second per IP address).
- Data is stored on AWS servers in Ireland (EU); GDPR-compliant with DPA and UK ICO registration.
